IT’S all change in Life x 3 at Leamington’s Loft Theatre.
Henri and Sonia are putting their son to bed when Hubert and Ines arrive for dinner, a day earlier than expected.
As the evening degenerates, Yasmina Reza’s play blends cruel observations with comedy, as three versions of the same socially hapless evening are shown in which something changes subtly each time.
It is the third Reza play directed by Sue Moore.
She said: “Life x 3 is as original in format as Yasmina Reza’s play Art which was so admired in our January production last year, but in many respects it is wittier and just as satisfying.
“Yasmina Reza’s writing and Christopher Hampton’s skilful translation juggle the comic and not so comic elements beautifully. It is fast paced, very clever and lethally accurate. My third Reza play, destined to brighten any dreary January evening.”
The production runs from January 17 to 27.
