THE CANAL in Leamington will be getting its latest clean on Sunday October 15.
The Warwickshire branch of The Inland Waterways Association and the Canal & River Trust will be teaming up for the clean-up between Tachbrook Road bridge and St Marys Road bridge.
Volunteers are asked to sign on, collect equipment and receive a safety briefing on the towpath at Clemens Street from 9.30am for a 10pm start.
All equipment and gloves will be provided and volunteers are advised to wear stout footwear and appropriate clothing as it can be very dirty work.
The clean-up will finish at 1pm. All welcome but under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
