JOHNSONS Coaches have been honoured for their community spirit.
The Henley-based operator was presented with a Community Support Award at Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service’s annual awards ceremony.
The company was formed by the grandparents of the current owners Peter and John Johnson back in 1909, and has always looked to support the community – including releasing staff to serve as retained firefighters at the Henley station.
Currently they employ one retained firefighter in Toby Bleby, and have just agreed to allow a second staff member to join the service.
