Coach company forced to cancel festive trips for first time in 30 years lets customers know they are thinking of them

AFTER being forced to cancel their Christmas and new year trips for the first time in 30 years, a coach company has ensured customers know they are still thinking of them.

Johnson’s Coach Travel’s festive programme attracts more than 800 customers from across the region each year.

But due to the pandemic the Henley-based company was forced to cancel its trips across the UK and Europe.

It meant many people, including many single travellers who usually spend Christmas on holiday with Johnsons, were forced to make alternative plans.

But staff spent the festive period delivering gifts to passengers to check on their wellbeing and let them know they were thinking of them.

Commercial director John Johnson said: “Our Christmas holidays are always full of festive cheer, good food, good company and fantastic entertainment; but with restrictions at the time they would not have lived up to ours or our customers’ expectations.

“Our customers’ health and well-being are of paramount importance to us“.
