WORK colleagues took on a mountainous challenge for a cause close to their hearts.
A team from NFU Mutual in Stratford trekked up Mount Snowdon to raise money for the Aylesford Unit at Warwick Hospital, which treats patients with cancer.
It was after colleague Rolf Wilson received treatment there last year.
The staff – all members of the senior management team – raised £5,000 in Rolf’s name, which will be used to refurbish the waiting area.
Rolf said: “I am very grateful to all the team at the Aylesford unit for their professionalism and caring and personal approach while I attended the unit. It was great to raise some funds to help them carry on their good work.”
