A CAMPAIGN to raise money and awareness of charity Crohn’s and Colitis UK has broken a college record.
The organisation which fights bowel disease was chosen as Southam College’s charity of the year, and the campaign spearheaded by year ten pupil Kacie Morby.
The college raised over £8,600 for the charity, smashing previous records by more than £3,000.
Fundraisers included non-uniform days, a charity week, and a 24 hour netball match.
This year’s chosen charities are Make a Wish, which grants wishes to seriously ill children, and Lily’s Foundation, which fights against mitochondrial disease.
