COMPLEMENTARY therapists are being called on to make a difference to the lives of those suffering from illness.
The Myton Hospices is looking to grow its team of volunteer complementary therapists to deliver a variety of treatments to support its patients.
The hands-on therapy is a combination of both modern and ancient techniques and at Myton is specially adapted for palliative care.
The charity which cares for people in its hospices in Warwick, Coventry and Rugby, is looking for volunteers qualified in at least one therapy to join the team.
Volunteer therapist Ally Gerrish said treating patients at Myton gave them a sense of empowerment and control, and was the most fulfilling thing she had ever done.
Applications should be submitted by March 21.
