Ian Hughes 25th Feb, 2020   0

COMPOSTING workshops are being held to help Warwickshire residents reduce their food waste.

Warwickshire County Council is holding a number of one hour sessions across the county to demonstrate home composting.

Those who sign up will be offered a 330 litre compost bin for £5 and will be shown how to get started with it during the workshops.

They will be held at Warwick Library on Wednesday April 1 – 10.30am to 11.30am, Stratford District Council offices on Church Street on Tuesday April 21 – 12.30pm to 1.30pm, and Rugby Library Saturday April 4 – 10.30am to 11.30am.

Additional compost bins are available for £10 each. They can be paid for and collected from recycling centres at Princes Drive in Leamington, Cherry Orchard in Kenilworth, Hunters Lane in Rugby and Burton Farm in Stratford.

Visit eventbrite.co.uk and search ‘home composting’ in Warwickshire to book a session.
