A CORONAVIRUS patient in Warwickshire has died.
The patient was being treated in Nuneaton. Another patient in Dudley has also died taking the number of lives claimed to the virus in the UK to eight.
Both were elderly and had underlying health conditions.
There were 387 confirmed cases in the UK as of 9am this morning – including four in Warwickshire and three in Coventry.
The World Health Organization has declared the outbreak a pandemic.
