Coronavirus: People urged to clap for carers

Leamington Editorial 25th Mar, 2020   0

A MOVEMENT has started for people to ‘Clap for our carers’ to applaud the efforts of our NHS during the coronavirus crisis.

People of all ages and abilities are urged to move themselves as close as they can to the outdoors, whether it be at their front or back door, from their window, on a balcony or in their garden, to join in with simultaneous applause at 8pm tomorrow (Thursday) evening.

The action will show the public support for the doctors, nurses, other healthcare professionals and all of our carers across the country who dedicate their lives for others.

It is aimed at showing our appreciation for everything our healthcare workers are doing during the coronavirus crisis and to show our resilience and determination to get through this pandemic.
