PUPILS and staff at Budbrooke Primary School are remaining positive in the face of the crisis.
Schools up and down the country are shutting today until further notice but the village school was determined to sign off by offering a helping hand to those in need in these uncertain times.
Headteacher Craig McKee said: “As schools prepare for closure we wanted to end on a positive so all children came in non uniform with food donations to give to the local church so they can continue to provide support to the most vulnerable.
“The food was gratefully collected by Louisa and Pete from St Michael.
“It’s humbling to see the community spirit during this time of need and uncertainty.”
