WARWICK Castle has been donating its food to locals in need.
Since the attraction closed last week staff have given all deliveries to Warwick Foodbank.
The foodbank said some residents had been so relieved to find food in stock they became emotional when they received their three-day emergency supply.
Castle director Nick Blofeld said: “It is now more important than ever for us to support our local communities during these difficult times.
“All of our team at Warwick Castle are passionate and dedicated to supporting the local community, so we are grateful to have been able to contribute at such a crucial time.”
