Coventry City legends taking to the pitch in Leamington to celebrate centenary

COVENTRY City Legends will be taking to the pitch to celebrate the club’s centenary.

Players expected to attend the match at Leamington FC’s Harbury Lane home include Michael Doyle, Gary McSheffrey, Carl Baker and Garry Thompson.

The charity game between Legends and Leamington and Warwick CCFC Supporters Club is being held to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the club’s first game in the football league.

The match will kick off at 1pm with gates opening at 11.30am.




Tickets cost £5 for adults (under 16s free) with all proceeds going to Myton Hospice and former captain Michael Doyle’s charity, Coventry Night Shelter.
