HYDRATION was the name of the game when two Coventry City players paid a visit to Warwick Hospital.

Sky Blue stars Reda Johnson and Jordan Willis dropped into the MacGregor Ward where they spent time meeting young patients and explaining what makes a healthy diet.

The defenders also handed out bottles of water to highlight the importance of drinking fluids and posed for photos with young football fans being treated on the children’s ward.

Jordan said: “We really enjoy meeting some of the club’s younger fans and we hope coming takes their minds off being in hospital.

“As a professional football player, staying healthy and keeping in shape is crucial to my job and that is something we’ve tried to pass onto the kids.”

Hospital play specialist, Sue Moulton added: “Reda and Jordan have helped share an important message that eating nutritious food and drinking plenty of fluids, especially when in hospital, plays an important part in recovery and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.”
