THREE people had to be taken to hospital after a crash between two lorries, which left one of the vehicles in a ditch.
Emergency services including the air ambulance were called to Shuckburgh Road in Napton at around 10am on Tuesday (December 19) where they found two HGVs had been in a crash.
One of the lorries had ended up in a ditch.
The driver of one of the lorries, a man in his 30s, had to be cut from the lorry and taken to hospital on a stretcher. The passenger, a man in his 20s, was treated for a cut to his head.
In the second lorry a man in his 20s had to be cut from the vehicle.
All three men had to be given pain relief and immobilised on stretchers before being taken to hospital.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “On arrival at the scene, crews discovered two lorries that had suffered considerable damage in the collision and three patients.
“All three patients were transported to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire by land ambulance.”
