CREATIVE folk are being urged to help Warwick District council shape the future of arts in the area.
The council has recently commissioned BOP Consulting, an international consultancy specialising in culture and the creative economy to undertake an assessment of the economic, social and cultural impact of the creative sector in the district.
The results of the impact study could support the formation of the council’s strategic objectives including the Creative Quarter project.
Jonathan Todd, BOP’s chief economist, said: “We are delighted to be working with Warwick District Council in this place of creative pedigree – the third largest digital games cluster in the UK – and in which we have a track record of delivery. This new study is about much more than gaming – it is about all the creative sector, finding new ways for it to fulfil its potential.”
