A MAN suffered a leg injuries when he answered the door of his Leamington home to crowbar-wielding thugs in the early hours of the morning.
The incident happened shortly after 3am on Friday December 1 at a property in Bertie Terrace.
The victim, who in his 30s, was woken by his doorbell ringing, and when he opened it he was confronted by
three men with a crowbar.
The victim, who did not recognise the men, received leg injuries while escaping into the street.
He was spotted by police driving pass the property.
There is no description of the suspects, who fled the seen in an unknown direction.
Nothing was reported stolen.
