A CYCLIST was left semi-conscious in the middle of the road following a crash with a van in Kenilworth.
Emergency services including an air ambulance arrived minutes after the incident, which happened around 6.30pm on Wednesday (June 14) at the junction of Bridge Street and New Street.
The man – who was not wearing a helmet – had suffered potentially serious head and facial injuries.
Paramedics decided to anaesthetise him before rushing him to hospital.
There were no other injuries.
