PEOPLE are being encouraged to hop on their bikes for charity.
The annual Pedal for Parkinson’s event, starting at Stratford Racecourse, will see more than 200 cyclists raising money for the 127,000 people affected by Parkinson’s across the UK.
Cyclists are asked to raise at least £100 in sponsorship and can choose routes of 20, 40 and 60 miles all starting and finishing from the racecourse on Sunday June 4.
And people who want to take on a bigger challenge can sign up to the two-day BOXCAM event which covers 200 miles from Bristol to Oxford and then on to Cambridge.
