A DISABLED-FRIENDLY guide for those out and about in Warwick district is being drawn up.
Parks, places of interest, shops and more are to be visited by a DisabledGo surveyor, who will collect information including taking measurements and photographs.
The information will then be compiled into an access guide by DisabledGo – which produce guides to over 125,000 different places from all over the UK and Ireland – which will be promoted on www.disabledgo.com.
District tourism spokesman Coun Noel Butler said: “The guide will make a huge difference to people with access requirements. “A lot of people face isolation from visiting different places because of the fear of the unknown. We want to ensure that this fear is removed when visiting all the great places across Warwick district.”
