DRAGONS took to the water to raise money for charity.
More than 20 teams of up to 17 people raced down the river to win the prize of fastest team and raise money for Myton Hospice and Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
Teams called themselves names from 101 Dalmations to Jilted Brides – and organisers Warwick Rotary were delighted no one fell into the River Avon.
An event spokeswoman said: “The objectives were to hold a great community event and raise lots of cash for two fantastic charities.
“This was all made possible by the Rotary and the team from Warwick Boats who all gave 100 per cent effort so everyone was kept safe whilst having a great fun packed day.
“This is an annual event held every year on the 3rd Sunday in September and it is fun for all the family.”
