Drink driver jailed after crashing into Leamington restaurant

A DRINK driver has been jailed after his van crashed into the front of a Leamington town centre restaurant.

Charles Churchill-Davies was almost five times over the limit when the white transit van he was behind the wheel of ploughed into Bill’s on the Parade around 5pm on Monday March 26.

The 29-year-old, of Kenilworth Road, Leamington, was sentenced to four months in jail, banned from driving for 40 months and ordered to pay £115 costs for drink driving and driving without insurance.

Nobody was injured in the incident.




Bill’s re-opened the following morning after repairs to the window and entrance.
