A DRIVER died after a medical incident at the wheel on the M40 near Tanworth in Arden.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called at 6.50pm on Thursday to junction 16 of the M40 northbound.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Crews found a man in a critical condition after having a medical episode at the wheel.
“Ambulance staff immediately began administering advanced life support.
“Sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts, the man could not be saved and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
