A WOMAN has died in a crash near Southam this morning (Thursday, June 26).
The car she was driving collided with a van at around 6.20am on the A425 Leamington Road at the Harbury/Bascote junction.
The road was closed both ways between the Kineton Road and the B4452 junction while fire, police and ambulance crews were present.
Two men in the van, both in their 40s, suffered minor injuries and received treatment at the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “From the outset, it was apparent nothing could be done to save the woman driver who was confirmed dead at the scene.”
