IT WAS flappy ending for a brood of ducklings which fell down a storm drain.
Fire crews in Southam were called after a passerby noticed a mother duck in distress.
The crew managed to retrieve six babies with ‘careful planning’ and the help of a hose reel.
A tweet from Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Needless to say, the mother duck was very happy. What more of a reward could we ask for.”
