AN EASTENDERS and Teletubbies set designer has being getting arty in Kenilworth.

Becky Morton of Sensory Murals has transformed Kenilworth Books on Talisman Square into an ‘Enchanted Forest’.

Owner Judy Brooks had the idea after being told the bookshop was a ‘magical place’.

She said: “We decided we really needed to have a properly magical setting after being told what a magical place the shop is.

“There are all sorts of creatures hidden in the painted foliage, from owls and bats to fireflies that glow in the dark and a gorgeous fox.

“As we are known for our support of Warwickshire Hedgehog Rescue and Hedgehog Friendly Town, of course there are plenty hedgehogs.

“We are so pleased to have been able to work with Becky on this project.”

*A TREEHOUSE has been built inside the Treehouse Bookshop in Kenilworth.

A free launch party on Saturday (June 30) will signal the start of a poetry season around the town.

Poetry and a cartoon workshop will be among the highlights of the launch event between 1pm and 4pm
