EVERYTHING environmentally-friendly will be celebrated with the return of Ecofest to Leamington.
More than 1,000 people attended last year’s inaugural festival, and the Pump Room Gardens will again be the host for this year’s event on Sunday May 31
Between 10am and 4pm people can learn how to make more eco-friendly and healthy choices, try activities to help cut their carbon footprint and improve their wellbeing and fitness.
Food will also be available on the day including locally sourced, vegan and vegetarian options.
It has been organised by Warwick District Council with environment charity Action 21 as part of the National Lottery-supported restoration of the Pump Room Gardens and bandstand.
Neighbourhood spokesman Coun David Norris said: “EcoFest is a fantastic event for families and those that are looking to take the first steps towards an eco-friendly future. It’s an event that’s good for you and good for the planet, so come along and take part in the diverse range of activities and see how we can all get active in our district’s parks.”
