STAFF at Volvo in Warwick have egg-celled themselves in support of Myton Hospices.
They have put together 80 Easter egg baskets which will be used as tombola prizes to raise much-needed funds.
Myton partnership manager Hannah Morris said: “The incredible donation of beautiful Easter egg hampers will be used over the Easter period to help raise funds for The Myton Hospices, who last year supported more than 1,400 people and their families in our three hospices via our patient and family support service and in the community through Myton at Home.
“As a charity we have to raise £8.8million to continue providing our services free of charge and this wouldn’t be possible without the support of the local community.”
Danny Nussbaum, HR director for the Volvo Group UK & Ireland said they were delighted to help the charity.
He added: “The Myton Hospices provides a much needed service to our local community. We know that the support they offer has touched a number of our employees’ friends or family and we hope that this small gesture will help them continue with their excellent work.”
They will be prizes at Harbury Myton Support Group’s tombola at Leamington’s Royal Priors on Saturday (March 24).
