Emergency work in Warwick town centre - drivers face delays

Ian Hughes 6th Jul, 2017   0

DRIVERS can expect delays due to emergency maintenance work on West Gate in Warwick.

Warwickshire County Council is installing temporary installing multiple-way signals controlling the traffic at the junction of High Street, West Street, Bowling Green Street and Leycester Place.

The lights are expected to be in place from  this morning (Thursay July 6) to tomorrow in order to install scaffolding to undertake the maintenance on West Gate. They will be removed when the scaffolding is in place.

These measures are being taken to ensure the safety of pedestrians while the work is underway and the county council would like to apologise in advance for any disruption this will cause.
