Exam successes for Trinity Catholic School

Despite recent changes to the national curriculum, pupils Trinity Catholic School continue to achieve top marks.

Trinity is again celebrating strong sixth form results with just under half of grades awarded A* to B grades with just under 30 per cent of A* to A grades.

Among star students achieving a full house of A* and A grades are Maria Mortimer, John Fox and Margaux Coombe.

Trinity principal Chris Gabbett said: “I’m thrilled with these results – Trinity students and staff have shown yet again how hard work, determination and commitment can create exciting possibilities and open new doors. At a time when education spending has been compromised and exam reform has created widespread confusion, our community has stayed the course and focused on academic excellence.

“But as I say each year, whole person development is the priority at Trinity, and academic results are just one aspect of a bigger picture. These numbers tell a fantastic story about our students – but not the whole one. Well done all!”
