FAIRIES and pirates in Neverland raised £15,000 for Myton Hospice.

The charity’s summer fete saw more than 1,000 people enjoy stalls, games, an auction, treasure hunts and even an inflatable pirate ship in the Warwick grounds.

Crowds were kept entertained with bands, dance groups, choirs and a performance of the Wizard of Oz by six year-old Ethan Flint and his friends, who previous raised £1,000 for the charity.

Events team leader Lucy Turner said: “We were absolutely delighted with the support from the local community at this year’s fete.

“It was fantastic to see our beautiful grounds transformed into Neverland and so many great local groups and acts performing. Our brilliant team of volunteers make this special event possible every year and we want to say a huge thank you for their continued support.”
