SPRING was in the air as families welcomed newborn lambs into the world at the weekend.
Young and old flocked to Moreton Morrell College, home to Nether Moreton Farm, to meet and even bottle-feed the new arrivals.
As well as witnessing live lambing, families were introduced to the neighbouring meerkats – among over 100 species at the farm’s Animal Welfare Centre.
Visitors learned about how animals were cared for on the farm while some had a taste of the high life aboard a tractor.
