Family extremely concerned for welfare of missing Southam pensioner

AN URGENT appeal has been launched by police after a Southam woman in her 70s went missing yesterday (Wednesday October 25).

Valerie Burnham, 74, from Mayfield Road, was last seen in Stratford-upon-Avon town centre yesterday.

Valerie is white, 5ft 3ins tall, medium build, short grey hair, fair complexion, brown eyes, wears glasses and has a Midlands accent. It is unknown what clothing she is currently wearing.

PC Sherril Dewar of Warwickshire Police said: “We are currently doing extensive searches in Stratford-upon-Avon and surrounding areas to locate Valerie, but so far without luck.




“Her family are extremely concerned about her welfare.”

Anyone who thinks they may have seen her is asked to call Warwickshire Police on 101.
