SALTISFORD Canal Trust in Warwick are preparing for a weekend of family fun.
The trust – located just off the Birmingham Road – will be offering boat trips, folk music, the chance to meet pygmy goats and creepy crawlies, refreshments and a whole lot more on Saturday and Sunday (September 12 and 13), from 9.30am to 5pm each day.
Visitors can also explore the waterside gardens, experience a sensory garden, meet Bernard the willow bear and learn more about the history of Warwickshire’s canals.

* SMALL scale model railway fans will be making tacks for Warwickshire Exhibition Centre.
The International N Gauge Show on Saturday and Sunday (September 12 and 13) will feature some model locomotives as small as a thumb.
