THE FAMILY of a missing man have issued a heartfelt appeal saying ‘life has stopped’ since he disappeared.

The family of Baljeev Johal, who has not been seen since the early hours of Sunday October 5 after attending a family wedding at the Sports Connexion in Ryton, have pleaded for him to get in contact.

The 24-year-old lives in the Bramcote area of Nottingham.

His older sister Haneet Johal described how the family have been out searching every day in an effort to find him.

She described how Baljeev’s disappearance was completely out of character and has had a devastating impact on their very close family.

He would always let them know if he was going to be away, and they are particularly worried as he went missing in an area he did not know.

Haneet made an appeal to her brother.

“Baljeev, we want you to know that all your family and friends love you and care for you. We want you to come home.

“We need to know if you are okay. Its fine if you are safe and well somewhere: if you are happy we are happy, we just need to know. We’re not angry with you.”

Balveev recently graduated from Leicester University with a degree in business.

His sister described him as a homely and quiet person who keeps himself to himself.

Baljeev is described around 6”3′ tall. He wears glasses and was last seen wearing a white shirt with a black jacket and black trousers. He had no phone or money with him at the time of his disappearance.

Anyone with information is urged to call Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 16 of October 5. Alternatively, contact the missing people charity on 116 000 in confidence.
