THE FATHER of modern forensics is the focus of the Leamington Society first talk of the new season.
Leamington-born Sir Bernard Spilsbury’s evidence was crucial in many high profile trials including that of Dr Crippen.
The talk Sir Bernard Spilsbury’s: a Leamington man in the Golden Age of Murder will be given by Dr Christopher Hilton of the Wellcome Library in London.
It takes place at Dormer Place Conference Centre on Thursday September 14, starting at 7.30pm. Visitors welcome. Admission £2.
