The veteran actor, who appeared in Truly Madly Deeply and Mr Selfridge, along with stage performances including at the RSC, will feature in the We Will Remember commemoration at St Mary’s Church in Warwick on Sunday (November 11), from 6.30pm.

He will join The Warwick Poppies Chorus – made up of choristers from the Da Capo Chamber Choir, the Gentlemen of St Mary’s Choir and King’s High School Senior Choirs – and young musicians from local schools.

The tribute will include a performance of Duruflé’s Requiem, readings of war poetry, along with music themed around prayer, anguish and salvation.
