FIRE stations across Warwickshire flew their flags at half mast in honour of a late colleague.
Firefighter Andrew Moore took his own life at Wolverhampton station on Sunday (February 16) following a night shift.
The 50-year-old who worked for West Midlands Fire Service had been on duty at the time.
Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service stations flew their flags at half mast on Monday night.
A spokesman said: “Our flags are flying at half mast as a mark of respect to our colleagues at West Midlands Fire Service Service following the loss of firefighter Andrew Moore.
“We are deeply saddened by the news and our thoughts are with his family and friends and all at West Midlands Fire Service.”
