FIREFIGHTERS were called to a lorry on fire near Warwick Services.

The 3.5 tonne LGV was found ablaze on the hard shoulder between junctions 12 and 13 on the M40 at around 11.30pm on Saturday (November 12).

One lane of the motorway was closed for around an hour while firefighters extinguished the blaze.

Crews used breathing apparatus, hoses and thermal imaging cameras to deal with the fire.
