FIREMAN Sam will be greeting families in Southam at a charity open day.
Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service is hosting the free event on Saturday August 3, from 10am to 4pm, at the town’s Coventry Street fire station to raise funds for the Fire Fighters Charity.
Families and youngsters can explore a real fire engine, dress up as a firefighter, enjoy a bouncy castle, barbecue food and ice cream.
Crews will also be on hand to talk about fire safety in the home and there will be a recruitment stand for those interested in becoming an on-call firefighter.
