Firefighters called to Campion School

Leamington Editorial 29th Jun, 2016 Updated: 28th Oct, 2016   0

FIREFIGHTERS had to be called after smoke caused an evacuation at Campion School.

At around 1pm today (Wednesday June 29) fire crews were called to the school on Sydenham Drive in Leamington.

Woodcutting machinery in the technology block is believed to have caused the incident.

The room was in use at the time but was evacuated – although 50 per cent of the building was left filled with smoke.
