A FIVE vehicle crash caused traffic tailbacks on the M40 on Monday (January 11).
The incident on the southbound side of the motorway is believed to have involved an HGV, two cars and two vans.
A female van driver, who was experiencing chest pains following the crash, was assessed by the West Midlands Ambulance team but discharged at the scene.
Two lanes were closed between junction 14 for Leamington and junction 13 at Bishop’s Tachbrook following the accident with drivers experiencing a series of delays and queuing traffic as a result.
