FOOTBALL fans glued to the World Cup may want to take time out to rummage through the loft.
Hansons Auctioneers hosts its latest valuation day in Kenilworth next week and football memorabilia collector Alistair Lofley will be offering expert advice on items.
He said: “Old football programmes which are rare or sought after can be worth thousands, including ones from England games. Original ticket stubs from important games, autographs and signed shirts can also fetch a lot of money.
“If you have a piece of sporting memorabilia you think may be worth something, do bring it along to show me. It’s always worth checking.”
People can bring sports memorabilia or any other items along for valuing to St Francis of Assisi Church Hall on Thursday July 12, from 10am to 4pm,
Valuations are free but donations are welcomed for charity NSPCC.
