FOOTBALL legend Johnny Giles will be chatting in Whitnash next month
West Bromwich Albion supporters club Warwick Baggies host ‘An Evening with Johnny Giles’.
at Whitnash Sports & Social Club on Thursday April 14.
The non-nonsense Irish midfielder appearied in the 1957 FA Cup final for Manchester United before becoming part of the famous 1960s and 70s Leeds United team, where he won the league and FA Cup. He joined WBA as player-manager in 1975 and guided the ‘Baggies’ to promotion in his first season. The now 81-year-old also captained and managed the Republic of Ireland national team.
Doors open at 7pm and it is £5 on the door. All welcome
