Football-mad dog looking for a new home

A FOOTBALL-loving dog is desperate to score new owners.

Staffordshire Bull Terrier Kane has been at Dog Trust Kenilworth’s rehoming centre for more than a year waiting to find his forever home.

The five-year-old pooch loves football so much he has been named after England and Tottenham star Harry Kane.

Dogs Trust centre manager Sandra Wilson said: “Kane is a wonderful dog. He has been with us for more than a year now and we have no idea why he continues to be overlooked.

“He is happiest playing outside with a football and showing off his skills. He’s such a sweetheart and is always eager to please.

“Alongside his football fanatic personality, Kane also has a sensitive side and needs owners who are willing to get to know him and give him time to settle in and find his paws in a new home.”

Kane is looking for an adult home where he would be the only dog. He would like active owners to play football with him and who are willing to give him the physical and mental stimulation he needs.

Call the centre on 0300 303 0292 to find out more.
