VULNERABLE people in Leamington are being targeted by scammers.
Police are warning residents to be on alert after discovering fraudsters claiming to be from HM Revenues and Customs (HMRC) were ringing to ‘collect outstanding debts’.
One number recorded is 0161 850 5620.
Police are advising people to treat all calls claiming to be from HMRC as suspicious.
