FURNITURE and photos feature in forthcoming Friday Focus talks at Leamington’s Pump Rooms.
The free talks at the art gallery & museum start on January 12 when local furniture designer Armando Magnino – who runs Studio 16 in Warwick – will be sharing the inspiration for his new creations.
And Tammy Woodrow, a researcher at the gallery and museum, will explain the history of some of the photos in archives on January 2.
Both talks take place from 1pm and last around 25 minutes.
And the spotlight will be on new exhibition ‘Lights of Leamington’ from January 19 to April 15.
It has been inspired by a festival in the 1950s which drew more than 300,000 visitors to the town to see Jephson Gardens transformed with thousands of lights.
Lights linked to Leamingon’s history – such as those used in medical spa treatments, paintings and photographs will also be included in the exhibition curated by artist Stuart Whipps.
