A 24-HOUR ‘squashathon’ in Warwick helped boost friendship.
Warwick Boat Club Squash Section took part in the event on World Squash Day which raised more than £1,700 for the Friendship Project charity.
Charity chairman Cheryll Rawbone said: “It is brilliant to have the support of the Warwick Boat Club who achieved this fantastic 24-hour feat.
“On a practical level, we would also like to say thank you for their help with free lessons and kit for the disadvantaged local children too.”
The Warwickshire-wide organisation helps disadvantaged children by providing volunteers for friendship and fun.
