PATRIOTIC pageantry was on show at a Kenilworth care home’s summer fete.
Kenilworth Manor was decked out in red, white and blue as residents were joined by friends and family for a day of fun and games.
There was also a tombola, cake stand and stalls selling items residents at the Thickthorn Orchards home had made including bird boxes, aprons, cards and paintings.
Joy Thorpe, activities co-ordinator at Kenilworth Manor, said: “We had a wonderful day, made all the better by so many of our residents’ families and friends coming to show their support.
“Thanks to the generosity of their loved ones and others, we raised £660, which will go towards the cost of trips out, treats and activities that will make a huge difference to their enjoyment of life over the coming months.”
