Fun-loving Murphy is looking for a furever family

POOCHES at Dogs Trust Kenilworth have got their paws crossed 2022 will mean, not only a new start, but a new home too.

Staff at Dogs Trust Kenilworth – who have around 120 dogs in their care – are calling on dog lovers who want to welcome a furry friend into their life in 2022, to consider adopting a rescue dog.

Following our previous four-legged festive campaigns – which have seen dogs rehomed as a result – the Observer is once again showcasing potential canine companions in the hopes readers, with a paw-shaped hole in their heart, might consider taking one home.

Murphy is an adorable eight-year-old Boxer Cross who loves life! In particular he loves people, food, treats, soft toys, cuddles – and sleeping! Who could ask for more from a canine companion?

Murphy can live with children of eight years and over and would love to find a home where his family can spend most of the day with him as he loves being around people. However, he is not a dog-lover so needs to be the only dog in the home and he is muzzle trained to help with his reactivity when he’s out and about – he is perfectly happy wearing a muzzle as he can still enjoy tasty treats such as cheese and sausage. Murphy is on pain relief medication for elbow dysplasia, but nothing stops Murphy loving life and he will make an adorable, fun-loving family pet.
